IOM X CONNECT / SINGAPORE

IOM X is inviting Singaporean university students from all faculties to register to learn more about human trafficking and how technology is being used to help end it.

The half-day workshop will be followed by a two-hour outreach where participants will use Microsoft tablets to engage the public and raise awareness about this global issue that affects millions of men, women and children.

There will be cash prizes for the teams with the most public engagement. The outreach event will be filmed for a short online video.

Workshop participants will also be invited to attend an exclusive media event on 30 November at the Microsoft Auditorium with a panel of speakers, including one youth representative from the workshop, to discuss how technology is being used to fight human trafficking.
