Tell IOM X why you care about ending slavery and what you’re doing about it, and you could win a trip to the SOS Summit in Washington DC!
IOM X is searching for two young advocates, aged 18-23, from Southeast Asia to attend the Students Opposing Slavery (SOS) summit in Washington DC, USA during 25-29 June 2018.
This one-of-a-kind event is part of an award-winning youth education program designed to educate young adults about the dangers of modern slavery and how to end it.

Entering the competition is as simple as posting on Instagram. Here’s how to do it.
Entries close on Wednesday 23 May at 5pm Bangkok time (GMT+7) and winners will be announced on Monday 28 May. The two most creative and inspiring videos will win. So hurry and get your entry in!

2. How do you choose the winners?
We’re looking for energetic and articulate young people who are passionate about ending modern slavery, and want to inspire others to do the same. Videos that are creative, original, inspiring, and convincing, are more likely to catch our interest.
3. What’s the closing date?
Deadline for entries is 21 May 2018. Winners will be contacted for references and logistics on Instagram by 28 May 2018.
4. What is SOS?
Students Opposing Slavery (SOS) is an award-winning youth education program for students dedicated to continuing Lincoln’s fight for freedom by raising awareness about modern slavery within a high-risk population – teenagers. At the Summit, dozens of teenagers from around the world come together to gain resources and training to take action against human trafficking in their own communities.
